Well, if you want to talk about the pronounciation, let’s say, Char Kway Teow, even among the Malaysian, some who would give a deep fry it with CHaaaaaaaaar for you, the dish might sound too crispy. Each one has it own preference, I would really leave it as it is. I myself can’t get my chinese name prounounce properly, that’s why the genjina.

BTW, if you want me to be a true Malaysian, Bahh Koo Tay supposed to be Bahh Kut Tay. There is a bone stuck in between.

Just wondering, does anyone call you a yapper? I am no yapper but I know your wife is one big yapper.

Anyhow, greetings from Singapore. Your wife has asked me to buy some Bah Kut Teh spices so, in no time you will be having them for dinner… lucky you.

Speaking of BKT -a singaporean creation (is it not? hehehe), everyone I know in Japan pronounce it, Baktay. For heaven’s sake, it’s not Satay. I have confirmed with my fellow Singaporean foodies (as well as Straits Times correspondant in Tokyo), that it should be pronounce Bahh Koo Tay like Char Kway Teow -3 words. This really annoys me, although being a Japanese national…. And Mr. Yap, you being a Malaysian national should do something about it. If my national dish -say sukiyaki is pronounced “sukeeyuckeee”, I am going to stand up. Trust me, sukiyaki is one of my favorite dishes. But now that I have gout, I am cutting down on Wagyu’s. Yet, vegetarian Sukiyaki is quite nice, I admit -with some help from Beef fat.

Well, to make my things short, enjoy BKT. And make sure you pass some of it to your kids.

メリークリスマス！

おかげさまで、チキンライスの味も覚えて、時々お母さんの店に行って食べたいとか言っています。

大人ときちんとしたキャッチボールの会話できるようになったようで、言葉に気をつけないと恐ろしいことになりかねません。

出かける際、なんでも買って！　というので、いつもお金がないよと言ってやっているけど、先お父さんがブランドの店に入ってものを見ている間に、

「お金がないなら、安いものを買えばいいじゃん。わざわざ高いものを買う必要ないよ！」速攻で引っ張り出して店を出ていっちまいました。
