DVD: The Lake House

For a while, I have been occupied with work, and almost everyday I am back with the last trains. Asked if I am enjoying my work, my answer is an yes. But, I do hope to be able to catch up things fast and spend a bit more time doing something else; meeting people, do some reading, watch DVDs, etc.

Yesterday, of all the busy schedule running up and down with the grossary purchase, kids playing time, and my own nap on my usual weekends, I took the kids to DVD rental shop after more than a month, and picked up “The Lake House.” I have been wanting to see this movie, somehow didn’t have the exact idea when the DVD would be released, but I thought this movie would be in store by now, and just all the timing, it’s just arrived for me.

A good movie, my like. How can I explain? Well, fictions that come with a logic of time where the time is only true in its own tales. There is no reason for an ending, because tales have its own time flowing, and it will not conflict.

Sequence of time is not following the track of logic, somehow it carries its impact on the story and human’s memory. The impossibility of time flow. But, why it works in tales? Tales run on its own time, that’s why.

For a few fictions that I read before, the ending that came with impossibility of the time use the same way of ending the story. I didn’t know why. Not that I know now, but after watching “The Lake House,” it kind of gave me an inspiration why the ending ends that way.

It has to be so.

All these are prepared the tales end perfectly on its own.
