Marching Towards Spring
Wednesday, March 3, 2004

Thought that spring will come soon, and yet we had snows for the last couple days. Not much, but still. It's supposed to be a busy month as March is the end of a fiscal year circle. Somehow, I am not that busy as last year. Is this all about ones conditon in heart, or physical thing?

BBT has commented something interesting on my last post, Something about Japanese literature Award. Check it out if you haven't noticed. About the phrase Sabishisa ha naru, "silense sounds," I would think it sounds more like "Solitude echoes" to me. Don't know, may be there is a different meaning. The reason why I wrote that post was in fact I do have another longer post to write about, let's see how thing goes.

Just to check out if this thing works.

What Happen If . . .
Wednesday, March 10, 2004

What happened if I have never come to Japan?

Well, if someone says, "damn the hot weather, why doesn't it rain?" you don't go and call the secretary and say,

"Moshi moshi, are you the secretary of god? Can you tell your goss to rain for a few hours, as it is so goddamn hot!!

You don't ask so, right? So, not all questions need an answer. That's what I mean. I am just curious what would it be like to never have come to Japan. What would I be doing now, etc.

It's the Time Again
Monday, March 29, 2004

This year's sakura is a bit early around in Tokyo, even before the new fiscal year starts.

Off topic, as you can see, I am not writing at all. Everyone is not writing, not only me I guess. Honest speaking, I haven't been thinking in English for ages. Only last week, I rented a few DVDs, then English sentences started to come back to my mind. The thing is, if I start to write it down, it will be just another posts of posts of complaint, and recently I have got fed up to complaint. People get sick of it and I get sick of myself. That's why I didn't even bother to write it down.

So, some of you wondered why I haven't been writing? You don't wonder? Never mind then. In fact, I do write, though in Japanese. Even in Japanese, I only manage to keep the pace once a week. If you want to see some pictures and don't mind the "not-so-important" Japanese, you can check it out at my main page, kenloo.com/ at the right corner. I have been posting losts of picture clips from my mobile. Well, my wife and me.

March is a bit too much of work, though managable. Anyway, it comes to an end at last. New thing is coming in, but I guess it is just another routine work.

Am reading recipes recently. Yeah, reading, not cooking. I used to cook before but not now at all. Sometimes I want to know what sort of ingredient it is used to make a dish, so I buy recipes. Japanese recipe books are enjoyable. Just look at the photos, it makes you mouth watering. And it is cheap, fully illustrated, simple but easy to follow, rich in detail, and full of varieties.

I am starting to feel hungry now. Shall we italian?

A Day-off
Monday, March 29, 2004

The more I work, the more annual leave I got to consume, and yet I didn't take so many. At the end, I can only carry forward 20 days, and have 14 days wasted just like that. It's not that I am too busy till I don't have time to take leave, it's this atmosphere in the company that no one really takes long leave.

I took a day off today, anyhow. Went to apply Karin's passport. It was fast and easy. And went to do some other documents application at the city ward office as well. There went my day. Cherry blossoms everywhere. Hope it lasts till next week, at least. What a waste if the blossom just ends even before April comes!
