I Read, Therefor I Don't iPod in the Train
Tuesday, August 3, 2004

I haven't been uploading new photos lately. In fact I have taken less photos compared to last year. We haven't been to any new places recently, that's why. Hardly take my camera out when we are going around the areas where we live, and the pool on the weekend is just routine.

Peter asked if I wanted to buy his iPod. I said no. The fact is I don't listen to music in trains. I'm not sure what makes so, I really don't plugin any device to my body other than reading with my eyes. I did have a PDA and a CD player before as well. At the end, they were left at home. without being entertained. Poor fellow.

A few weeks back, I found out that the beer isn't cheap, and I happened to grab a few cans of Chuhai and it tasted good, and CHEAP. It's even cheaper than coke. So, now I am drinking Chuhai almost daily. Somebody, stop me.

Have I Told You Lately?
Monday, August 9, 2004

The CD of Rod Stewart has been spinning in my head recently. This CD, The Story So Far: The Very Best of Rod Stewart, consists of 2 cds, but I am playing on the second one, A Night In. The first disc, A Night Out, is more of noisy blasting music which I hardly imagine I will need such when I am tired after work.

The CD has the Japanese translation though, I treid to read the lyrics and then think of what words could be used in Japanese. And I find that by doing so, the Japanese become very plain, lost of nuances come to the same words though it might carry a different meaning, yet it doesn't seem to do so when you just read the Japanese.

Korean musics are hot in Japan recently due to the dramas that have been introduced to Japan by the media. And while listen to it, I was wondering.

Why Japanese singers seldom sing love songs nowadays? Females do sing love songs, but not the male singers. Why?

And before, the ancient Japanese seemed to have been rather romantic, they even wrote poem at battlefield.

Hmmn.

Eat Out, and Eat Out, and Those Days
Tuesday, August 10, 2004

It's amazing that Jingsue-san's diary (in Japanese) is full of foods and foods. She is in Hong Kong now, and I have been there only a twice, but I have not really found anything that's really tasty. May be I got to go there when she is still there.

Compared to those days when I was in KL, in fact I eat less overall. In KL, I was as if eating almost every hour. And I didn't put on wieght. But, now I put on weight like a pig though I eat less. And it is always routine 3 meals a day. My weight could most probably change due to my Japanese diet.
