An Apple in a Shoe

Kids' grandparents sent toys, rice, veges they planted themselves, and honeyed apples. It filled up one whole box, and the hole in the shoes as well. Karin called to thank them, asked why put the apple inside the shoes, grandma said, it's edible, wash and eat it!!
